DK is a highly versatile guitarist and producer with over three decades of professional experience spanning classical, jazz, and heavy metal. His musical journey began with a foundation in Classical music, which later evolved into a deep exploration of Jazz while studying in Australia. In 1994, he made a significant mark in the Korean music scene by recording his first heavy metal album in Seoul.  Since then, DK has been a prolific force in the industry, contributing to numerous TV soundtracks and media scores.  His relentless curiosity has led him across the globe, performing and teaching while expanding his artistic boundaries.

What sets DK apart is his "Pro-level" mastery across diverse genres. Whether it is the intricate compositions of Chopin and Mozart, the fiery energy of Pantera and Dream Theater, or the soulful expressions of Blues and Jazz, DK possesses the technical depth to perform and teach them all.  As an instructor, DK is renowned for his deep understanding of muscular and joint ergonomics. He provides students with practice methods that prevent fatigue while enabling high-speed technical proficiency.
